Donegal is currently under a status yellow weather alert for thunderstorms with a risk of flooding present.
Met Éireann says that there is a risk of heavy thundery downpours, spot flooding, lightning strikes and poor visibility.
It is also in place for Cavan and all of Connacht.
The alert is due to expire at 10am.
