A child was knocked down by an e-scooter in Derry on Sunday night.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm in the Shantallow area when a young male on an e-scooter reportedly came around a corner behind the Community Centre and collided with the child, who was riding a scooter.
The young man ran to get help and apologised to the child and their parent, but left the scene without providing his details.
The child sustained injuries to their leg, hand, arm and face, and required medical treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone with information, or who may be able to assist with their enquiries, to come forward.
