Cockhill Celtic were beaten 2-1 by Coachford in the FAI Junior Cup Quarter-Final at the Charlie O’Donnell Sports Grounds this afternoon.
A first-half goal from James Casey had the away side ahead at the break and, after Casey was shown a straight red card, Adam Murphy made it 2-0 with 20 minutes remaining.
Garbhan Friel pulled one back and Cockhill pushed for a late equaliser but the Cork side stood firm and claimed an impressive away win.
