
It’s claimed regulated nicotine vapes could be more effective at helping people quit smoking than traditional replacement methods.
The study by Cochrane Group analysed over 80 different clinical trials and found 10 in 100 people quit successfully with vapes compared to just six in 100 using other methods.
It comes as the Government’s flavoured e-cigarette ban is before the Seanad.
