379 children awaiting first time OT assessments in June

Over 25,000 children were waiting for first-time Occupational Therapy assessments in June of this year, 379 of them in Donegal.

HSE figures show that overall, more than 280 thousand people are waiting for initial appointments from primary or community care services, including physio, audiology and speech and language therapy.

The figures were released to Sinn Féin Health spokesperson, David Cullinane, who says these figures count for just some of the HSE’s waiting lists……………
