Donegal TD and Sinn Fein Finance Spokesperson Pearse Doherty has again proposed legislation in the Dail to reduce the cost of Home Heating Oil.
Deputy Doherty is proposing an emergency measure which would remove all excise duties and carbon taxes from home heating oil.
He told the Dail this is the eighth time he has proposed such legislation, and he will continue to do so until action is taken.
Deputy Doherty warned the government if action isn’t taken, people will take to the streets………
