McGee & McElhinney take on the Irish Open

Donegal will be well represented at this weeks Irish Open at Fota Island in Cork with Rosapenna’s Ruaidhri Mc Gee and Buncrana’s Brian Mc Elhinney taking part.
Ruaidhri heads into the event off the back of a solid performance on his first full European Tour event in Austria where he finished tied for 25th.
Brian qualified after finishing in the top eight of the Irish PGA rankings last year.
McGee starts at 9.20am this morning while McElhinney tees off at 1.50pm.
Rory McIlroy starts the Irish Open as favourite.
