A multi million pound redevelopment of the Brandywell Stadium will start in the summer.
Diggers will begin work at the end of May with the building of a new stand being the first phase.
The Glentoran stand will be taken down and replaced with a new stand that will also house new changing facilities and offices.
The second phase will see work commence on a new pitch and the surrounding dog track in October.
The redevelopment will see around £10million spent with funding from the Derry City Council and the Northern Ireland government.
