Thousands of people have been participating in St Patrick’s Day parades and events across the North West, with the good weather swelling the crowds.
The main Donegal parade was in Letterkenny, with Errigal College taking the overall prize.

There were also parades in Derry, Omagh and other towns across the North West.
The main Derry parade was preceeded by a march by the Apprentice Boys No Surrender club, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
There was a police presence for the parade which began shortly after noon, but there were no incidents.
