Man charged with dangerous driving following fatal RTC in Strabane

The 49 year man arrested following a fatal RTC on the Melmount Road, Victoria Bridge, Strabane last night, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, causing death by driving whilst uninsured, no insurance and failing to have recording equipment fitted to his vehicle.
The man has been charged to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court tomorrow.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
Sergeant Amanda Kenny, Collision Investigation Unit is appealing to anyone who witnessed a white Mercedes box lorry or a white Citroen van on the Melmount Road, Victoria Bridge, Strabane between 10 pm and 10.15 pm on Saturday evening 11 April 2015 to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on non emergency number 101.
