The group calling itself “Republican Action Against Drugs” has said it will kill drug dealers in Inishowen.
Last year, the group issued an unspecified threat, but now, they have made a comprehensive statement to the Inish Times newspaper.
Speaking to Greg Hughes on the Shaun Doherty Show today, the paper’s editor John Gill said the threat came accompanied by a recognised code word, and he believes it to be genuine.
He says the extent to which one individual was targetted last year shows the extent to which this group is prepared to go………..
Meanwhile, Sinn Féin Councillor Jack Murray has hit out at the group, saying they have nothing to offer the community.
Cllr Murray said that there was no support within the community in Inishowen for this group and added that they should ‘go away and stay away’.
