Philips Medisize corporation to be bought by Molex LLC

The Philips – Medisize Corporation is to be bought by Molex LLC.

The corporation operates the Philips Medisize Ireland lant on High Road in Letterkenny, which employs 275 people. The Letterkenny plant opened under the IMED Ireland banner in 1981, and has since operated under a number of names, including Pharmacia and Upjohn and Donegal Healthcare.

Molex, a Limited Liability Company established in 1938, manufactures electronic and fibre optic systems.
