Ulster Championship Senior Hurling Final: Slaughtneil: 2-14 (20) v (16) 1-13 Loughgiel
Derry GAA club Slaughtneil made history on Sunday when they became the first side from the county to win the Ulster hurling title.
They beat Loughgiel by four points and then celebrated by posting their victory photograph (pictured) on their Twitter account.
At half-time, they lead comfortably 2-08 (14) to (7) 0-07.
Goals from Cormac O’Doherty, who hit 1-09 in total, and Brendan Rogers helped Slaughtneil to lead by a score of 2-3 to 0-0 in what was an easy win.
