A man has died following a suspected drowning incident in Bundoran.
It’s understood the victim had been fishing off rocks close to the Roughey Cliffs this morning when he fell into the sea.
A multi-agency operation including the Gardaí, ambulance service and Rescue 118 was launched.
His body was later recovered on Tullan Strand, and his body was taken to Sligo University Hospital.
Gardaí say the results of a post-mortem exam will determine the course of this investigation.
