Donegal Senator Brian O’Domhnaill has called on the heads of Irish Universities and third level colleges to come before the Oireachtas Education Committee to explain reported discrepancies in the use
of the student registration fee by colleges.
Senator O’Domhnaill, the Government Spokesperson for Life Long Learning in the Seanad, says it’s emerged that colleges are spending less than 50 per cent of the student registration fee on student services, and that’s unacceptable.
