Farmers should withdraw cattle from processors

The ICSA is urging Donegal farmers to withhold their cattle for slaughter, in protest at the price being paid for their animals by processors.
Outgoing President Malcolm Thompson says the price being paid to farmers now is below break even point, and well below what is being paid in the UK and Europe.
He says that farmers are using other payments they receive to prop up the beef industry here, and that needs to stop.
