An investigation’s been launched in the north after an 8 year old boy was found alone and freezing on a Derry street.
The youngster was discovered by a taxi driver outside a shop in the Ballymagroarty area at half past six this morning, when the temperature was minus 1 degrees.
The man wrapped the child in a blanket and called an ambulance which took him to Altnagelvin hospital.
The PSNI and the north’s child protection sevvices are investigating.
