Fianna Fail Councillor questions calls for Donegal by-election

AFianna Fail County Councillor says it may be in the best interest of Donegal and the economy if we wait until the next general election before filling the vacant Dail seat in Donegal South West.
Fine Gael has announced a selection convention for a by-election while Sinn Fein is calling on the government to set a date but Councillor Patrick McGowen says more consideration should be given.
He says that given the fact that a general election will be held, at the latest, in two years it may be better to wait:
