Paper highlights James McDaid’s lack of Dail attendance

The introduction of a “clocking in” system in Leinster House is not encouraging our TDs to turn up for work.
The Sunday Times reports that in the two weeks immediately after it was brought in, just 17 of the 166 TDs reported for work every day.
However, Monday and Friday are non-sitting days.
Former Defence Minister Willie O’Dea, who says he was still dealing with the trauma of losing his ministry, didn’t attend at all during the two week period.
And Donegal Deputy James McDaid TD, who is refusing to give up his Ministerial pension, only clocked in twice.
