O’Domhnaill seeks updated guidelines on National Road access

Minister John Gormley is promising that draft guidelines governing access onto National Primary and Secondary Roads will be published shortly.
The issue was raised in Leinster House last night by Seanator Brian O’Domhnaill, who said that many young people were unable to build on family land, because the NRA is routinely objecting to any plans that involve an access onto the N56.
He says the key problem is the current guidelines are outdated, and do not differentiate between national primary and national secondary roads……..
