A councillor has said he is outraged that planning process for telecomuniction masts has not been made more transparent despite the issue being raised nine months ago.
At last Septembers monthly meeting of the council Councillor Mick Quinn had a motion passed calling on the council to amend the county development plan in relation to the masts.
This after claims that many people are unaware that a planning application has been placed and that in some cases when they do become aware it is to late to object.
Councillor Quinn is blaming government cuts for the council’s lack of progress on the issue.
