Rally cancelled as mark of respect to dead co-driver

The Donegal Motor Club has confirmed the Donegal International Rally has been cancelled following the death of a competitor. Thomas Maguire, of Longwood Co. Meath died in a crash between Fanad and Ramelton this evening. The driver of the car is in a critical condition at Letterkenny General Hospital.
A service for Thomas Maguire will be held at Rally headquarters in the Mount Errigal Hotel tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 11am.
