Derry PSNI invesitigate Creggan assault

A man has suffered head and facial injuries in an assault in the Creggan area of Derry.
The man, who is in his 40s, was found near the junction of Fanad Drive and Central Drive at about 6 o’clock this morning with injuries that are not believed tio be life threatening.
Police have appealed to anyone who saw or heard a disturbance to contact them.
