Fine Gael’s Health spokesperson Deputy James Reily has said he has no faith in NAMA ensuring that work on the new Letterkenny Genera Hospital emergency department will be completed.
McNamara construction, building the new departmen\ at the Hospital has ceased work on all it’s current projects and a receiver has been appointed by NAMA to the company.
Mc Namara is believed to have overall debts of 1.5 billion euro.
Reacting Deputy Niall Blaney said the government has committed the money to complete the job and NAMA will get someone else in to finish the job.
However Deputy Reilly says he has no faith in NAMA doing so.
