North west expected to escape worse of snow showers

More snow is forecast today, although there’s not likely to be as much as in recent days.

Continuing very cold on Monday with fog slow to clear some spots.
Mostly dry with bright or sunny spells developing.
Temperatures staying well below zero in most parts.
