The Donegal Mountain Resue Team has reported a busy period due to the cold snap with a number of rescue and humanitarian call outs.
The team earlier assisted an older lady who is isolated in her Glenties home while there has been a number of similar call outs.
Catriona Strain is a spokesperson for the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team, which is supported soley by public donations.
Ms Strain says they expect the volume of call-out to increase in the coming days:
