Donegal Ladies came from behind against Laois to make it two wins from two games in the National Football League on Sunday. The County now share top spot in the Division 1 standings with Monaghan. At half time in Ballyshannon Eamon O’Boyle’s side trailed by three points 2-5 to 1-5. Termon’s Geraldine Mc Laughlin scored the county’s only goal in the opening half. The turning point in the game came when Roisin Mc Cafferty saved a Noreen Kirwan penalty. After that it was all Donegal. Second half goals coming from Eilish Ward, Niamh Hegarty and two from Yvonne Mc Mongale helped the county to a 5-7 to 2-9 win. Donegal’s next game is a northwest derby with Tyrone. The red hand ladies on Sunday drew with Galway.
