Derry’s Paul Mc Closkey is looking to upset the odds this month by claiming the World Light-Welterweight title. The Dungiven south paw takes on the wba title holder Amir Khan in Manchester on the 16th April. The fight at the MEN Arena will be McCloskey’s first crack at a World title. Speaking with the BBC ahead of the fight Paul said the build up has being going really well and he’s looking forward to the occasion.
