Philip Jordan is in the Tyrone squad for Sunday’s NFL clash with Meath. His inclusion among the subs would appear to scotch specuilation that the All-Star winbg back is set to quit inter-county football. Earlier this week, Mickey Harte dismissed claims that Jordan had decided to call it a day as ‘internet gossip’, and now he has made a more concrete statement by naming him in the squad for Navan. Harte has named an unchanged starting fifteen, with Mark Donnelly, a late pre-match replacement for Stephen O’Neill for last weekend’s win over Kildare, holding on to his place at full forward. Tommy McGuigan is set for his first appearance of the season, and will be on the bench at Pairc Tailteann, where a win is vital if the Red Hands are to have any chance of promotion.
