Investigation launched into deaths of brothers who lost their lives out lobster potting

An new investigation is to be launched into the deaths of two Donegal brothers who lost their lives after they went out collecting lobster pots in March 2008.
Fishermen Daniel and Francis McDaid were found 3 miles off the coast of Inishowen Head a day after their vessel was reported missing.
At the cororners court in Derry today, Daniel McDaids family solicitor Ciaran McLaughlin, said the case was a best unlawful killing and at worst murder.
The families of the McDaid brothers claim that Daniel and Francis’ boat was struck by a larger vessel, and the they say there was never any proper investigation into this.
