A post mortem examination is taking place of the Donegal woman who drowned off the Queensland coast on Monday.
23 year old Science Graduate Elaine Morrow was from Ballintra.
She’d been in Australia for almost a year when she drowned, during a three-day introductory diving course.
It’s thought it will take up to a fortnight to get Elaine’s body home.
Former Ballyshannon Mayor Cllr Phonsie Travers has been speaking with the family. He says a number of people from the locality are helping the family in Australia.
