Derry man guilty of selling fake DVDs

A 31-year-old Derry man was given a suspended sentence and fined more than £1000 when he admitted a series of charges relating to selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs at a car boot sale.
Colin Bernard Hasson of Ederowen Park in Derry faced a total of eight charges relating to the sale of the goods on October 10 last.
Limavady Magistrate’s Court was told that on that date police mounted an operation at the car boot sale in Greysteel to combat the sale of counterfeit goods.
