Deputy McHugh chairs The British Irish Interparlimentary Group for first time today

The British Irish Inter Parliamentary Group meets in Cork today, with Donegal North East TD Joe Mc Hugh at the helm for the first time.
Deputy Mc Hugh is Co-Chair of the body, along with Tory peer Lord Cope. It’s not the first time a Donegal TD has been in the chair, during the lifetime of the last government, the position was held by former Deputy Niall Blaney.
Speaking ahead of today’s session, Deputy Mc Hugh said there will be a major emphasis on promoting tourism and investment:
