Donegal crash victim named as PSNI probe fatal Hit and Run

The 26 year old woman killed in a collision outside Donegal Town yesterday morning has been named locally as Deirdre Burke of Drimarone.
The collision, which involved a car and a van, happened at Ardlenagh on the old Ballyshannon Road at twenty to ten yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, police in Tyrone have launched a murder inquiry after the victim of a weekend hit and run died last night.
37 year old Declan Quinn from Coalisland was knocked down on the Gortgonis Road on Saturday night by a car which failed to stop. A silver Corsa, believed to be involved in the collision, was later found in the Drumcairne Forest on the Ballygittle Road, Stewartstown.
A 20-year-old man was arrested in Dungannon on Monday in connection with the crash.
He is being held on suspicion of withholding information and assisting offenders.
