Police and HSE investigate incident in Sligo Hospital

The HSE and Gardai are investigating an alleged assault involving two doctors at Sligo General Hospital.
Newspaper reports today claim the male and female doctor were on rounds on Thursday morning, when they had an argument in the presence of a patient.
The female doctor was seen to fall backwards clutching her forehead, and was treated for an injury in the eye area.
The report says Gardai were called and are now investigating, while the HSE West says it is aware of an incident and is trying to establish the facts.
