Derry man jailed after admitting hiding weapons for dissidents

A 54 year old man who admitted hiding guns and ammunition for dissident republicans has been jailed for seven years at Belfast Crown Court.
Thomas Christopher Nash from Iveagh Park, Prehen, admitted having a .22 calibre hunting rifle, ammunition and a silencer with intent on the 9th of August last year.
He also admitted possessing imitation firearms and a canister of CS spray.
Nash will serve half of the seven year sentence in custody, and will be subject to licence for a further five years.
