Estonia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Turkey or Montenegro await the Republic of Ireland in Thursday’s Euro 2012 play-off draw following last night’s 2-1 win over Armenia at the Aviva stadium. An own goal in the 43rd minute gave Giovanni Trapatonni’s side the lead in the first half while Richard Dunne doubled the advantage in the 59th minute before Armenia scored just 3 minutes latter. Kevin Doyle will miss the first leg of the play-offs following his sending off while Armenia played the bulk of the match with ten men after their keeper was red carded. Once again the Irish manager to the annoyance of Donegal and Ireland supporters, and soccer pundits didn’t play Killybegs Seamus Coleman who is seen as one of the best players Ireland currently have.
