Two women fined for operating Letterkenny brothel

Two Romanian women have appeared in charged with running a brothel in Letterkenny.
20 year-old Madalina Bargan and Veronica Baicu who is 28 , were arrested on Wednesday at 35 Glenveigh Court, Justice Walsh Road.
Buncrana District Court was told the arrests were made  following several days surveillance on the premises.
Gardai observed a number males entering the house since Monday and when they entered on Wednesday night they did found items which indicated the house was being used as a brothel.
The women advertised their services through the website Escort Ireland,
Judge Paul Kelly fined the women €300 each , and said the rest of the cash that had been seized (E275) could be used to help send the women back home to Romania.
