Donegal Deputy Joe McHugh claims a Government plan to allow the household charge be paid in Post Offices comes off the back of public demand.
Currently the tax could only be paid at Council offices or by Direct Debit.
Deputy McHugh says by letting the tax be paid at Post Offices the Government are not trying to get more people to pay the charge:
