Nine redundancies announced at Charles Kelly LTD, Letterkenny

Charles Kelly building suppliers in Letterkenny have announced the loss of nine jobs.
Staff where informed of the decision this week which has been blamed on the downturn in the building trade.
In a statement released to Highland Radio News Charles Kelly Limited says the decision to make nine of its staff redundant was made with great regret.
The redundancies have been announced to staff and will be made over the next month and a half.
The company says the job losses are as a direct result of the ongoing financial crisis which has lead to a severe downturn in the building trade adding that they have no choice but to make cost reductions to secure the future viability of the business and the remaining jobs going forward.
The company said it would like to thank the public, staff and others connected to the company for their continued support.
