Derry man dies in Jersey fall

The Donegal based brother of a Derry man who died in Jersey at the weekend says he suffered the fatal injuries after he fell from a window.
30 year old Michael Stewart, who was originally from the Brandywell, was found outside his flat on the island yesterday morning.
Police in Jersey have confirmed they are not treating Michael Stewart’s death as suspicious.
His Inishowen based brother Ryan described it today as a freak accident.
Ryan Styewart, a founder of the Donegal Action Against Austerity group who contested the last General Election as an independent told the BBC his brother had beenc out with friends the night before and he had been locked out of the flat.
He tried to get in through a window, but slipped and fell.
Mr Stewart said his brother was five years in Jersey, had a partner, and was planning on getting married and settling down.
