Council announces 30 summer work placements for third level students

Donegal County Council has unveiled it plans to provide paid summer work placements for up to 30 students.
Applications are invited from full time students, who are currently undertaking a third-level course in Engineering, Business, Finance, Arts or related disciplines.
The council says that applicants must have completed two full academic years at third level and are returning in September 2012 to continue/complete their studies.
The placement period runs from Monday 9th July to Friday 31st August 2012 – a salary: €302.75 per week for a 35 hour week is being offered.
Likely locations for placements will be Carndonagh, Donegal Town, Dungloe, Letterkenny, Lifford, and Milford.
Only applications submitted by email will be accepted. In view of the time frames involved, the Council will award placements based on Curriculum Vitaes only.
There will be no interviews.
