Michael Murphy and Rory Kavanagh, two of Donegal’s injury concerns for this Saturday’s Championship clash with Derry are being monitored closely this week.
Murphy has not played a game in nine weeks for club or county due to a lateral knee injury while Kavanagh is receiving intensive treatment on an ankle injury picked up in a club game a few weeks ago.
Donegal manager Jim Mc Guinness has admitted that both are serious doubts for the provincial quarter final in Ballybofey.
