Justin McMahon has been named at full-back in the Tyrone team to face Donegal in Saturday’s Ulster SFC semi-final, despite serious doubts over his fitness.
McMahon, who has been unable to train fully since being forced out of the quarter-final win over Armagh at half-time by a hamstring injury, is included in an unchanged team.
Half forward Ronan McNabb has also overcome a groin problem to take his place in the starting line-up. Brian McGuigan, who came out of retirement earlier this month in response to an injury crisis, will see his first involvement of 2012, having been named among the subs.
Stephen O’Neill will again start in the forward line for Tyrone. The former all star sees Tyrone as the underdogs for this one.
Tyrone: P McConnell, A McCrory, Justin McMahon, D Carlin, C McCarron, C Gormley, Sean O’Neill, Joe McMahon, C Cavanagh, R McNabb, M Donnelly, P Harte, M Penrose, Stephen O’Neill, O Mulligan
