HSE rejects GPs proposals to reduce NowDoc services

The HSE has rejected proposals from GP’s to reduce the overnight NowDoc service in Carndonagh and Derrybeg.
Under the proposals the so called Red Eye service, between 11pm and 8am, would have been withdrawn from Carndonagh and Derrybeg and provided centrally from Letterkenny.
The decision to reject the proposals has been welcomed by the union Impact – spokesperson Richie Carrothers says the GPs have questioned to answer:
