Ireland will send a team of 65 athletes to this year’s London Olympics.
The final squad was announced this afternoon in Dublin, with 11 more competitors than Beijing in 2008.
As expected five from the North West are included, Letterkenny’s Catriona Jennings goes in the Marathon, Milford’s Brendan Boyce in the walk event, Finn Valley’s Tori Pena will compete in the Pole Vault, Raphoe’s Chloe Magee in Badminton and Derry’s Eileen Morrision in the Triathlon
