Glentogher is the worst unemployment blackspot in Donegal

A research project carried out by a Trade Union official suggests while Donegal is the county with the highest unemployment average in the country, seven of the top ten unemployment blackspots in Ireland are in Limerick.
Figures in the 2011 census show Donegal with an unemployment rate of 26%, compared to a national average of 19%.
Unite trade union research officer Michael Taft has identified the worst affected areas in the country – with parts of Galway and Longford making up the remainder of the top 10.
He says Glentogher in Inishowen is the worst blackspot in Donegal, and is number 11 in the country……..
