Donegal pilot paid thousands weeks before Florida course was suspended

It’s emerged that one of two Donegal student pilots currently in Limbo in the US paid a five figure sum in fees to the Waterford based Pilot Training College just three weeks before training was suspended because of contractual issues with its partner college in Florida.
The two Donegal students are among 80 who are unsure about their futures.
Donegal North East Deputy Joe McHugh, is questioning how much the Waterford company knew when they accepted the money .
Deputy Mc Hugh is hoping to meet with Transport Minister Leo Varadkar to discuss the issue later today:
