Raphoe’s double Badminton Olympian Chloe Magee has been drawn to play Pi Hongyan of France in her opening match of the London 2012 games this weekend.
The French girl who reached the quarter finals in the 2008 games sits 19 places above Chloe in the world rankings.
London will be Chloe’s second games following on from her appearance in Beijing four years ago where at the age of 19 she became the first ever Irish women to win a badminton match at an Olympics.
