House damaged in Downings fire

The fire service has been tackling a fire at Derryhasson in Downings this morning.
We understand the fire at the old school house was reported shortly before half past eight. The sole occupant, a woman, got out of the house, and no injuries have been reported.
Two units of the fire brigade tackled the blaze, which we understand is now under control. Fire service personnel are still at the scene to ensure the flames do not catch again.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated, but we understand it is not being treated as suspicious.
